We were looking for a videographer to capture our traditional Hmong wedding in Minneapolis, Mn, and we are so glad we chose Allen Pictures Films (APF) to capture our special day for us!
The video turned out absolutely beautiful with crisp audio and amazing video quality. The video was delivered very sturdy with no shakiness and beautiful vibrant colors. A decision factor for us was to have clear audio of when people spoke, and APF delivers that nice clean audio so you can hear clearly what is being said. I would also add that APF did an amazing job at layering the audios throughout the videos (background noise, music, speeches).
With a traditional hmong wedding, we were looking for a videographer who had knowledge in important moments to capture during the wedding (arrival, rituals, table events, dressing, etc), and Allen at APF delivered exactly that. He did an astounding job at capturing moments throughout the wedding, too, such as decor, guest interactions during the wedding, and the laughter that filled the air throughout.
Allen was very kind and organized. He had really put in all the effort to try to capture as many moments of our special day as possible, and we are so glad to have had APF with us for our traditional Hmong wedding!

When I was looking for a videographer, I always found myself looking back at Allen’s work.
Something I’ve noticed and didn’t like from other videographers were that their videos were shaky. When watching Allen’s videos, I didn’t notice any shaky cameras. Also in Allen’s videos, he captures his clients a lot.
We get to see the couples more and see their love for each other. And his edits were much better.
My husband and I did our Hmong wedding back in May 2023. When Allen presented our sneak peak, it was perfect. I was crying about how amazing the film was. Even though it was a sneak peak, it was just perfect, and I was even more excited for our final video.
A couple of months later, Allen finished our final video and OMG, he captured everything! The video was just beyond perfect.
